Topic: Describe or photograph your walk to work. Or journey to work if you use transport. Is it pretty or incredibly dull? Can you find something of interest on your way?
I have a 40 minute drive to work each day. It is not exciting and nothing special ever happens. Therefore I am not going to bore you with details or images of how I get to work.
Instead, as today was one of the days I actually woke up motivated enough to do some exercise (on a Friday?!?) I am going to rename this post to ‘Jog before Work’ and share in it the songs I listened to whilst jogging today! Recently I have just been listening to ‘Now That’s What I Call Running’ on repeat, and today was a great selection!
So here it is my ‘Jog Before Work’ Playlist:
Footloose (This on was amazing this morning, I set off more bouncing and hopping than jogging as I was dancing and singing along!)
Mama do the Hump (This song sometimes does my head in – today it wasn’t so bad!)
99 Problems (This one seems to come on nearly every time I run – I know lots of the words now)
Human (I love the Killers so was very happy when this came on)
Maniac (A bit more bouncing and hopping)
Simply the Best (This was a great one to finish with, and it inspired me to run quicker back up the little hill at the end!)
So there you have it, the songs I jogged along to on this wonderful(?!) Friday morning! If I am going to run I prefer going of a morning because I see less people – and therefore have no problems dancing along or singing along to whatever I am listening. Or boxing it out when Eye of the Tiger comes on
