Morning Ritual – #BEDM

Topic: Tell us about what you do every morning to help you get ready for the day ahead.

Firstly I would like to apologise for falling behind on my Blog Every Day in May posts again! Determined to catch up and finish as I should be tomorrow though!

I don’t think I do anything very special of a morning. In fact every morning is a little different. If I am feeling motivated I try to get some exercise in as the first thing I do. I am better in the morning, if I wait until after work it won’t happen! Then it’s pretty much shower, get ready, eat breakfast and make lunch, then off to work I go. While getting ready I am also likely to be watching something on my iPad. Often it is youtube videos. At the moment it is The Biggest Loser. I had been watching them on Virgin Media catch up of a weekend…then I found a youtube channel with loads of full seasons on…so every spare minute I am watching it now. I am a Biggest Loser addict!

So this lovely (?!) day in May my morning went like this:

  • Alarm goes off
  • Snooze for 10 minutes
  • Alarm goes off
  • Get up and force myself into workout clothes and trainers
  • Complete level 3 of the 30 Day Shred DVD
  • Drink lots of water and cool down (while watching biggest loser)
  • Cup of peach and cherry blossom green tea (while still watching biggest loser)
  • Washing up
  • Prepare my lunch
  • Shower
  • Get dressed and do makeup (biggest loser again)
  • Eat Breakfast
  • Leave for work

Such a wild morning! :)
