Topic: Tell us about your typical day. Or maybe do a photo diary of what you are doing on the hour every hour for 12 hours. Or you could sum up what you did today.
I am a 9-5er. So a Friday for me is pretty much the same as Monday-Thursday for the most part. I work at a desk on a laptop and there is almost always a cup of tea next to me. I do have a couple of toy samples on my desk which brighten the place up a little bit though!
So a typical day for me goes a little something like this:
- Get up
- Brush Teeth
- Get dressed and do make-up (if I can be bothered)
- Eat breakfast (while reading Twitter/watching YouTube)
- Drive to work
- Lunch Break – Eat and read blogs/Write my blog (or when I’m really wild I will pop into town for a spot of light shopping)
- Drive Home
- Make dinner
- Eat dinner
- If I have nothing exciting planned I will chose from one of the following evening activities:
TV or Film
Read a book
Get back on laptop for some more blog reading/writing, tweeting and watching YouTube.
And there you have it…a typical day in the boring life of me. I feel I should point out that I actually do really like my job and most days I am too tired after work to do anything more fun anyway. and very occasionally I have a reason to be out of the office all day. Then I really shake things up!
Now I know lots of you will work shifts or jobs which are out and about so you don’t have the same static days as me so I would love to read your day in the life posts – please link me! But for some of you…does all this sound a bit similar? Is life like this for lots of people?
To add some life into this Day in the Life post – I have included a ‘fun’ (ha) montage of pictures of me and my typical day activities.
And to add a little soundtrack to my day…a bit of Daft Punk. I have heard this song 3 times today and it’s been stuck in my head all day!
